Because I had to post earlier this afternoon...

and I couldn't wait until this evening when the room was actually finished...here are the dining room photos to accompany the last post.

Aside from it looking WORLDS better, the man who painted it was a total bad ass. He was incredible. First, the man painted the entire room BY HIMSELF. Twenty foot ceilings, cracks to patch, and a staircase that wraps around the room. All. By. Himself.
To top it off, the only tape he used was to tape plastic sheeting to the floor. He did absolutely all of the detail work completely by hand.

I was/am so utterly impressed by this guy. He wins.

We should be able to hang the new chandelier soon and get this looking like a functional dining room again, but right now it is late.
