Currently; May 2016

It's been a super long time since I've done one of these, so I figured, what the heck!? If you're interested in what I've been upto lately and whats all goings on and such. Keep reading...

Currently I'm...

Reading...
Very slowly working my way through Room. It's pretty interesting so far, but I just don't have the quiet time I used to to actually get into a book. I'm still enjoying it though.

Watching...
We've been super into YouTube. Having talks (with my hubs) about starting a channel, but I know thats a really big time commitment and I'm not sure I want to be one of those people who just talks to themselves everywhere... oh wait, I do that anyway. :P
Shows I'm enjoying right now are Jane the Virgin, Last Week Tonight, Game of Thrones, @Midnight, aaaaand Silicon Valley. If you're not on the Jane the Virgin train, seriously, its amazing. Get into that.

Reading...
I haven't really been reading much... unless you count instruction manuals, then I've been reading a ton.

Watching...
We did not get to Walking Dead in time, so the episodes have started coming down off AMC.com. Instead we've been catching up on Sons of Anarchy. I haven't loved it. Jax feels so one-note to me, and I am just waiting for everyone to die. We kind of stopped watching after the thing at the airplane hanger with Clay. Hubs was way more into the show than I am and he kinda lost interest after that. I don't blame him, so I haven't been pushing to pick it back up.
I also just marathoned the first season of Orphan Black. I have a lot more free time lately, so I watched that by myself. It's pretty amazing so far. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend. I'm excited to start season 2.

Listening to...
Still super into Serial.

Struggling with...
Hahahahahahahaha. Everything. Even sitting is difficult. Hubs laughed at me when I was moving the laundry from the washer to the dryer last week. That was real.

Inspired by...
The little man. He is amazing... and he is so big. Holy smokes.

Workouts are...
Wimpy. Luckily, my body and I communicate really well, ;) but I've been majorly wimping out on these workouts. If you follow my weekly workout recaps, you may have noticed a steady decline. I'm still getting to power yoga about once a week, and I try to dance or at least get a day or two of light cardio in, but a lot of days I am just too tired, or I wore myself out doing household stuff.

Eating...
There is zero diet happening. I'm not even being very careful about what I'm eating (oops). I occasionally enter things in MyFitnessPal, but mostly out of curiosity. I just eat what I want when I want it. Luckily, I usually crave a balanced meal, so maybe I'll have mac and cheese for lunch, but I'll follow it up with a kale salad, so I'm getting a little of everything, good and bad.

Planning...
I'm mostly just trying not to plan... at least not more than a few days or a week in advance. Since life could change very drastically at pretty much any moment, I'm just trying to get everything ready for our little guy.

Teaching...
As of today I am teaching one last class before taking the next couple months off. Mommy & baby yoga finished up on the 12th (oddly the day I usually post my currently posts, but my schedule's been a little off, so I spaced on that. oops), and I've stopped trying to get subbing gigs for the time being. I did some more subbing through the

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I finished Four to Score and I read about 8 pages of High Five before I decided to read something baby related instead. So, I pulled out my kindle and started reading Happiest Baby on the Block. I read the introduction. I think I get it. I don't feel like there's a lot of incentive to keep reading, but I will at least skim through it to make sure I don't miss anything important.

Watching...
We finished Parks & Rec and are all caught up. Walking Dead is starting this weekend. We should be able to watch it online by borrowing cable logins from family. Hooray! Not sure what show we'll marathon next, but it's pretty crazy how much TV we're still able to watch with only the internet.

Listening to...
Serial! I'm also looking for some good songs to learn to play on the guitar, not necessarily tiny person appropriate, but bonus if they are. Suggestions?
I've also just started listening to the Hypnobabies tracks. They suggest you start way earlier than I'm starting, but I figure if I don't finish the whole class, they should still be helpful.

Struggling with...
Getting dressed in the morning. Every. Single. Day. My mom and I went shopping yesterday and got me some lightweight sweaters to throw on over the tank tops or maxi dressed I've been wearing almost every day, also some tops that should transition me into cooler weather pretty well. It's still tough though, man. Clothes are my nemeses.

Inspired by...
My tiny human. Still. I have a feeling this category is not going to change for a while. Haha.

Workouts are...
Getting a little lame (by my standards). As long as I do something almost every day, I generally feel good, taking the pup for a decent length walk, doing mellow yoga, or dancing in the living room are all acceptable. I wish I could work out more and harder - especially since I'm feeling whale-like - but that will just have to wait until January or February and I've mostly come to terms with that.

Eating...
I'm trying to eat healthier. I've still been unintentionally carbo-loading, but I'm working on eating more veggies and protein.

Planning...
My free time, or lack thereof. The rest of October is jam packed, and to kick off November, I'm trying to figure out when to take maternity photos. We talked about doing them at the beginning of October, but decided I wasn't big enough yet, so we have to reschedule. Bleeeeh. I need to figure out what the heck I'm going to wear

Teaching...
I did a little more subbing recently. I've been getting more consistent numbers in my regular classes since school started again. I also talked to the studio owner and we've got everything pretty much figured out for how long I'm going to continue to teach and what will happen while I'm gone. I'm super excited we've decided to give my classes to a long term sub and then I can jump right back in when I'm ready to come back.

First piece of artwork for the baby's room. My dad brought it back from Tanzania.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
FOUR TO SCORE! Haha. My friend lent me her copies of some of the Stephanie Plum books aaaaages ago. I mean years. The last time I picked this one up, Panda was a puppy. She got ahold of it and tore the cover up. I have since taped it all back together, but its still kind of a fun reminder of my girl who chewed up everything. Anyway, I was looking for something fun to read and I remembered I still had my friend's copies of books 4-6 (having already read 1-3), so I decided to give them another go.
I also downloaded Happiest Baby on the Block and Bringing Up Bebe. Haven't touched those yet though.

Watching...
We got through Hell on Wheels so fast! The season was kinda disappointing, actually. Felt like nothing happened.
My honey finally agreed to watch Parks & Rec from the beginning with me. He LOVES it. I knew he would, but sometimes people just need to find things on their own. We're in Season 3.

Listening to...
I've added Take Me to Church to my short list of songs I play on repeat.

Struggling with...
Energy. Especially right at this moment. Sleep is a lot harder than it used to be. Plus its been really warm at night still, so if we opt for windows open over AC, I usually don't sleep very well.

Inspired by...
This kid. He amazes me. I haven't even met him and I am in awe.

Workouts are...
Harder and harder every day, but I'm keeping at it. I'm going for more fun, less focus. There is no part of me that feels the need to crank out 30 pushups at any point in a workout. Last week I was so tired in yoga, he gave us the option to do one or two pushups between side planks. I did one pushup and a childspose. I barely made it to the side plank on the second side.
Dance workouts are good. I can regulate the intensity better without skipping moves. I like Dance Central Spotlight and taking Bollywood classes for this.

Eating...
I'm not proud. Lots of carbs and lots of sugar. Hubs made cinnamon rolls last week. So. much. sugar.

Planning...
I keep going back and looking at our registry. I want to make sure that it's things we'll actually need and people will want to buy, so I'm constantly tweaking it. I need to stop though and just let it be.

Teaching...
Picked up some extra subbing gigs at one of the local gyms. Classes at the studio have been slow lately. Not sure why.

Buying...
I've been doing a lot of online shopping. Like, a lot - zulily, target, old navy, nordstrom, you name it. So, I just wanted to take a minute to share Ebates with you folks. Basically they pay you to shop online... which is the coolest ever. You should try it. They send you quarterly checks, or sometimes you can get your payment in an online gift card. Once I got mine in the form of an Amazon gift card. You just spend what you were gonna spend anyway and get a percentage of that back from ebates.
Anyway, I highly highly encourage you to check it out (and use my link ;) ), especially if you do a lot of online shopping like I do. They're not paying me, but I think I get some kind of credit if you sign up using my link. :)

This was at 22 weeks, so you already saw a very similar picture Friday before last.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I got to the end of the Divergent series and I totally lost interest. A friend of mine really wants me to finish it so she can rant to me about how much it the end sucks, but that's not the best motivation to pick it back up again. I've been reading a few pages every now and then and I think it's pretty much over. She was right. The ending stinks. Now I get to decide what to read next!
My mom also gave me her pregnancy journal to read. I plowed straight through that thing in a matter of days. I love love loved the pictures she pasted in there. It made me want to put more photos in my own journal. So, I logged onto shutterfly and printed out a ton.

Watching...
We just "finished" Sons of Anarchy. We're through season 5 anyway. We already know about everyone who is going to die because we - apparently - like to ruin things for each other. We can't watch season 6 yet because it's not available for free on Amazon Prime. I figure it should be available soon though. This week we're gonna start the latest season of Hell on Wheels. We've missed dreamy Cullen Bohannan.
and finally, we saw Guardians of the Galaxy last weekend. I liked it more than hubs did. My favorite line was "I wasn't listening. I was thinking about something else". It was flawlessly delivered by Dave Bautista.

Listening to...
I'm all caught up on the JtB podcast. I started listening to Alie & Georgia again. They get on my nerves sometimes, but mostly I find them funny.
Also, these three songs are my jams at the moment.
OH! and I heard a version of this the other day and it reminded me how much I love this song. I may or may not have started singing it to the baby.

Struggling with...
I guess my body made room because I am feeling less squished. I've got a twinge of something happening with my low back/right hip. Possibly sciatica, but its inconsistent and it doesn't feel like compression.

Inspired by...
Still mostly the little human.

Workouts are...
Really good. Some days I drag and struggle through, but most days my workouts are the best part of my day. Endorphins are awesome that way.
I also made some new/old friends. I've run into two girls I knew in high school having babies around the same time I am, so we've been taking yoga together on Sundays. It's pretty cool.

Eating...
More healthy food than last month. I got on the salad train. Hubs and I have been having lean protein and veggies for dinner *most nights. I did get into a pint of Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns by myself though. At least I only at it one serving at a time. We had homemade pizza over the weekend - not so healthy.

Planning...
We went baby furniture shopping this weekend so scope out what was out there. We found some pieces that we liked, but nothing was settled on. I've got a pretty good mental picture of what it'll end up looking like though.

Teaching...
Lots of subbing at the gym, and still keeping my regular Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday classes.

Currently; July 2014

It's mid July. My 30th birthday is this month. I haven't quite figured out how I feel about that. I mean, it definitely feels real, but also very surreal. On the one hand, I feel like I'm already 30, and on the other I ways thought of 30 as being old. Why is that? 30 isn't old. That's dumb.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I just plowed through the entire Divergent series. It's a fun read. I have to say, I liked Hunger Games better as far as dystopian femme hero young adult lit goes, but still. Fun. ;)

Watching...
Nothing on live TV. Ha. I only caught a few snippets of the world cup games on TV at the gym. We started watching Sons of Anarchy last week. Most nights we'll watch an episode or two.

Listening to...
I'm bored with music. I listened to the Hair soundtrack a week or so again. That was magical. I sang What A Piece of Work is Man and Good Morning Starshine to the babe. It was fun. Then I proceeded to have the former stuck in my head for the rest of the day. It was kind of great, actually.

Struggling with...
Same ol' same ol'. Except my organs are feeling especially squished lately. It's very uncomfortable, almost to the point of painful some days

Inspired by...
This little human, mostly.

My workouts are...
Varietal? Is that a word that can be used when not applied to wines? I've been taking spin and barre and prenatal yoga and boxing. Anything and everything. On the days I feel good, I feel great and on the days I am tired, the workouts totally kick my ass and I feel dead to the world.

Eating...
Tacos. Toast. Strawberries with whipped cream. Smoothies. Greek Yogurt. Pop Tarts. Not a lot of veggies, I'm ashamed to say. I need to get back on the veggie train. I'm trying.

Planning...
Repairs mostly. There's been some drama 'round these parts pertaining to a mysterious leak in our garage. We're planning and coordinating repairs and such. I get to take a backseat now, which is nice. Let other people figure it out. I would just really like the mystery puddle to stop showing up
On the positive, there's a big family vacation planned for next June (my grandparent's 60th anniversary) and we've all agreed on a location! FINALLY! There are about 25 of us, so agreeing on a locale was a big deal. Hubs and I used our trump card anywhere we didn't want to worry about travelling to with a 6 month old.

Teaching...
My Monday class is cancelled indefinitely. At least for the summer - people just stopped coming. My other classes are doing great though. Tuesday and Thursday are really picking up and I've got some regulars who make me smile.

First of all, Happy Birthday to my baby sister! She turns 27 today! Though to me, she will be 22 forever.

Since I let out some pretty big news last week, this month's currently post is gonna be a little different than usual. Just a smidge.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I finished A Long Way Down a little while back. My friend also lent me her copy of Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy. Though I'm definitely not a fan of Jenny McCarthy, I enjoyed the book and read it in a single afternoon while I was on my staycation.
I've also been slowly working my way through the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy. I love reading about this stuff. I loved reading about pregnancy before I was pregnant. Now I have the best excuse.
I downloaded Divergent onto my kindle. Don't judge me. I started and finished it in about a week. I enjoyed it. It was fun, but I don't see what the big deal is. I had a bit of a tough time getting into it. Even though it was an easy read, I felt like I wasn't connecting to the character and I didn't really care what happened to her. By the middle, I was more into it though. I'm hoping to start the next one in a day or two.

Happy Monday and Happy May!

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
A Long Way Down. I am really enjoying it. I found I just really enjoy Nick Hornby's writing style. I don't always like his message, but while I'm reading it, I find the characters and the plot pretty entertaining. I'm excited to see the movie. As I'm writing this, there have been a lot of Toni Collette movies playing on TV, which is a little weird since she'll be one of the leads in the movie version of A Long Way Down.

It's Saturday, I know. Most of you won't see this until Monday, but it's the 12th, and the 12th is when I post these currently thingys.

3 more days until I can breathe. As tax season comes to a close, I am more and more tired every day. I am so very much looking forward to my week off. Words fail me.
Teaching 4 classes a week on top of my 9-5 on to of P90X = one tired Alyssa

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I gave up on Lost at Sea. Since it's a book of short stories, I just couldn't get myself to get involved in the book as a whole. I finally picked up A Long Way Down, which is on my reading list for this year. I haven't gotten very far yet, but I'm enjoying it thus far.

I feel like writing these posts make the time go by faster. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I took this picture yesterday morning - on my second and final trip out to the car. One the first trip, I carried my lunch and change of clothes for the day... because that's how I roll these days.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
Nothing. I brought my kindle out the other day to sit down and read... and as soon as I turned it on it told me the battery was low. So, I took it back upstairs and plugged it in. It was a sad moment.

I'm still working on Lost at Sea!  It's a great read, but since it's a series of short stories, it's hard to get addicted to the story, ya know? I'm really eager to start A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. I read one of his other books, Slam, a while back when I was travelling a lot in grad school. Also, A Long Way Down is being turned into a movie coming out this year, so I'll probably want to see that (starring Aaron Paul and Toni Colette and really, where can you go wrong?!)

Still slowly making my way through Lost at Sea. I'm also considering picking up the Divergent series. I heard it's really good, so I'm thinking about it. Any suggestions one way or the other?

Watching...
I'm on the Downton Abbey bandwagon and I love every second of it.
Being Human is back tomorrow! True Detective starts soon. It looks amaze-balls. What else? Archer. SHERLOCK!

Listening to...
I did some exploring through my music library last week and I found there has been an unfortunate lack of everything I loved in late high school/early college. So I've been majorly binging on decade old music - Fiona Apple, Dirty Vegas, old Foo. It's magic.

Into 2014...

Yous guys, the end of the year is upon us. We are in our last hours of 2013, so I thought I would take a moment to recap some of the more wonderful (and sometimes challenging) things that took place in 2013.

This year...

In January, I figured out this headstanding business ;)

In February I got officially certified as a yoga instructor and started teaching my very own class on Thursday evenings.

March I ran my second 10K ever (which was brutal) and went to a self defense workshop.

In April, hubs and I went on a weekend getaway to Catalina - where I had never been before.

We went up North for the Livermore Wine Festival in May. We also cleaned out and reorganized the garage.

June, I took a long weekend to visit my baby sister in Portland.

In July, I celebrated entering my 30th year.

In August, we went to Vegas.

In September, I saw the Backstreet Boys in concert for the first time since 2000. I ran a half marathon and the following weekend, we went up to Santa Barbara and Los Olivos to celebrate our second anniversary!... oh yeah, and then I went to Hawaii.

October was mostly cooking. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen - making oatmeal, pesto, and granola.

In November, we finally painted the master bedroom - after living here for 3 years. It was time. I also did 108 sun salutations.

And December I ran another 10k, had a wonderful Christmas, hosted a photo challenge, and realized that very soon it will be the year I turn 30. Like, whoa.

I have lots of ideas about what 2014 will be like, but you never really know, do you?
I'm excited to see what the future brings.

Happy New Year, everybody!

Whelp, it's December. Last "currently" post of the year. Panda and I went on a fun hike with my mom, big sis and all the other pups on the 1st. Panda definitely thought it was the most amazing thing ever.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
Finally getting back into Lost at Sea, which I am loving. It's a compilation of short stories/articles - beginning with an interview with the Insane Clown Posse. Interest = captured. I also have a growing list of books I mean to read.

Watching...
OHMYGOOOOOSH! So, I knew about who was gonna die in the mid-season finale on Walking Dead, but I still didn't want to see it. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
In other news; Secret Princes. If you haven't already, please get in on that. It's TOO amazing.
I'm still marathoning Bones in my free time. I'm in season 5. It's getting a little annoying, but I like seeing how they bring in characters.
AND I signed up for a free month of Amazon Prime, so I've decided to watch Sherlock. Not disappointing, in fact, pretty amazing. Benedict Cumberbatch is unbelievably talented... even if his name makes me giggle.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
Umm... this is embarrassing... I haven't been reading much. Recipes count, right?. I've been reading a ton of recipes for gluten free cookies. My grandma was just diagnosed with Celiac's, so I told her I would make her some gluten free cookies for Thanksgiving. I put a call out on facebook requesting favorite GF cookie recipes and got some great responses. So far I've tried two and one is definitely in the lead. I'm excited to try more, which means more recipe reading instead of book reading.

Watching...
Walking Dead (and Talking Dead).
We also just marathon-ed the first two seasons of Hell on Wheels. Probably should have waited on doing that since season 3 JUST aired and now we have to wait (we don't even know how long) before it's up on Netflix.
And I'm still watching all the old episodes of Bones when I have free time.

Listening to...
Everything I can get my hands on, but I am kind of over a lot of my running songs, so I need a major revamp on my ipod shuffle playlist. I put some Fitz and the Tantrums on there, some Arctic Monkeys, and OF COURSE some Katy Perry. It's better, but I need to keep cycling in new music.

Struggling with...
Motivation. It's just barely cold enough outside that I don't want to leave my house. I want to snuggle up under a blanket and stay there all day every day.

Eating...
This weekend hubs made pulled pork shoulder while I made slaw and cornbread and we had a solid Southern meal for College Football Saturday. I also made two mini batches of gluten free cookies (see above)  and we ate all of them. So... technically still gluten free... except for the corn bread.

Planning...
Ways to spice up our now bland looking walls. I tell ya, when your bedroom walls are bright red, the last thing you think about is how bare they look and how badly they need some wall decor. Now that they're beige, all I see is empty space on the walls! So, I've got some ideas - a nice bed frame, a painting, some photos. I've also got a ton of pictures of the painting process from this weekend, so I'll have a post about that soon! :)

Excited for...
OUR NEW BED IS COMING ON SATURDAY! We just repainted the bedroom this weekend and we specifically scheduled the new bed to be delivered with enough time to paint, SO this week is our last week in the queen. Cray.

Teaching...
Twice a week - beginner flow and mommy & baby. I'm subbing a lot more and I even booked my first class at Spectrum Club. It'll be on Thanksgiving at 830am, so if you're a Spectrum CP member and want to come hang out and take my class, now is the tiiiime!

Inspired by...
Freaking elephants, man. My parents just got back from Africa. I was looking through their pictures the other night and was absolutely floored. I could have stared at the elephant pictures forever.

What are you up to lately?

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I finished rereading Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. Then I set a date to see the movie with my friend... and it was only in two theaters, both unfriendly distance from us. Sad day. So, we're gonna wait until its out on DVD and rent it, I guess.
I'm looking for some book suggestions for the fall! If you've read any good books lately, let me knooooow! I have The Count of Monte Cristo hanging out on my Kindle saying "read me, read me", but I'm in the mood for something a little lighter, ya know? I also just downloaded Lost at Sea, after listening to the most recent This American Life podcast.

Watching...
Dexter is over... and the end was... disappointing. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
Breaking Bad is over and the end was completely satisfying. Thank you, AMC.
What I'm watching now? Oh... Walking Dead... because it's back. TEHEHEHEHEEEE! Also Bob's Burgers. If you're not on that train, seriously, get on it because Bob's Burgers rocks my world. Mostly because of the kids.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
Whelp, I finished the final Sookie Stackhouse book. As I told my girlfriend, everything gets tied up in a neat little bow in the end. I have a couple of paperbacks that I'm trying to get back into. Namely, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters and To Kill a Mockingbird. Why these two? Well, I've already read all the Percy Jackson books for a fun easy read a thousand summers ago, but they just released the Sea of Monsters movie and I'd like to read it real quick before we go see it. I picked it back up earlier this week. Hopefully I don't get bored rereading... you know, since I already read it. As for To Kill a Mockingbird... well, that's leftover from my days of not doing the "required" reading in high school. I read about half of it last summer, but my husband cringes every time he's reminded I haven't read it.

Watching...
Dexter is almost over forever. I am so sad about this. True blood is over, and if the gossip mill is correct, next season will be it's final season. I haven't actually looked into this, but I can say it's about time. That show has jumped about 11 sharks. Ray Donovan is getting good... FINALLY! The season is almost over, but now I actually care what happens next. Also, the addition of James Woods is a total win. I loved watching the interaction between his character and Jon Voight's.
Big sis says I NEED to watch Orange is the New Black. Maybe someday I'll join the cool kids club there.

Reading...
The final book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. I think it's #15 or #16 or something. It's a little weird to be reading the last one - like a chapter in my life is closing. Dun dun dunnnnnnn!

Watching...
Everything, it feels like. True Blood is almost done for the season. Dexter too. Ray Donovan, I'm still not sold on. The last episode of True Blood felt like filler. Do you watch? Know what I'm saying. Dexter is so good. I love.
Breaking Bad is back. I know you know. I saw the pictures from your Breaking Bad parties.

Listening to...
Lots and lots of potential yoga music. I'm trying hard to keep my ears open for good songs to play in class. Also, The Civil Wars. How have I missed out on them for so long? Yes, I totally play them in yoga class.

Currently, I'm...

Reading...
I dove back into the Sookie Stackhouse books that I used to be addicted to 4 years ago. On my trip home from Portland I downloaded the last two books in the series. They are so wonderfully trashy. I love them. Easy to read. Easy to pick sides. Only hate the bad guy. Characters still do stupid things, but in a warm and likable kind of way.

Watching...
True blood is back, which is a little weird to watch as I read the later books in the series and see just how far the show has diverged from the books. We're also loving the final season of Dexter, and we're a couple episodes into Ray Donovan now and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I like it, but I care about the relationships and not the big drama with his dad being back. Last week, while I was sick and stayed home from work 3 days. I spent those days attached to the couch marathoning old episodes of Buffy and Bones.

Listening to...
Podcasts mostly, but I've been using the heck out of our shared data, so I'm trying to cut back and just listen to the radio and my ipod more.

Struggling with...
Umm...training for a half marathon. Gosh, running is boring. And I can't seem to find a good time of day. I've been so busy

Planning...
Mini trip to Vegas is planned. My mom and I had a collective mini panic attack when we realized that my sister's nursing school graduation is the same weekend hubs and I were planning to get out of town to celebrate our birthdays. Luckily, her graduation is in the afternoon on Friday and we don't leave until late that night. PHEW!

Teaching...
A ton. It's about to calm down like crazy though. I got a lot of requests to sub recently - one teacher going out of town and another with an injury. I am so so SO happy to do it, but its completely exhausting, especially since I don't just go home and relax and build classes afterward - I still have to go to work.

Inspired by...
Being outdoors. This weekend I got out my easel and did some work on a painting I started ages ago. I've also been trying to ride my bike around more. I love being out on my bike. I love the air and the peacefulness. Maybe I can bike ride my half marathon. HA! (not really)

Confused about...
My birthday. It's in less than 2 weeks, which is all fine and dandy, but people are asking me what I want and what I want to do, but I don't want things. I told T to buy himself a bike so he can ride with me. I'm also turning 29, which is kind of just another year... and I pretty much already tell people I'm 29 - I am actually turning 29, not turning 29 again. ;)
